Dr. Herbert Mrotzek is currently the Director of the Corporate Department for Environmental Protection Health and Safety at BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeraete GmbH, Munich, Germany.
He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Hamburg and received in 1994 the B.A.U.M. Award for Environmental Management. He has over 20 years experience in the area of Environmental Protection within the electrotechnical industry, and is working in different European environmental committees of associations and standardisation.
He is the chairman of the Environmental Committee at ZVEI, and also chairman of CENELEC TC Environment and convenor of CENELEC WG “EuP standardisation programme”.
