Mr. Bourov is a graduate of the Varna Technical University, subject “Production automation”. He has been active as a construction designer at the “Intransmash Engineering” company as well as a testing engineer at the “Hoisting and Haulage machines” laboratory; Vice President of the Committee for Standardization and Metrology, Vice President of the State Agency for Standardization and Metrology. Mr. Bourov is currently President of the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization and also Deputy Chairman of the Union of Quality Specialists in Bulgaria, and member of the Managing Board of the Bulgarian Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, and member of the Control Board of TÜV-Rheinland Bulgaria.
